2026 K-pop Dance Contest Regulations
Application Process
1. The contest is open to ages 14 and up. Applications for group (this includes duo) and solo performances accepted.
2. If any participant is a minor (age under 18), completed participant and parent/legal guardian consent forms are required.
3. $20 registration (per application) fee is required at the time of registration. The fee is non-refundable. All proceeds are used to benefit KACCSA’s education, cultural, and community programs.
4. All contestants must submit their music to KACCSA by April 4, 2026. Please use the music and upload form.
5. We want to ensure all our contestants are real performers! Please upload your sample performance (mp4 file) using our official upload form. If you prefer, you may also email a YouTube link of your performance to info@sakorean.org.
6. Participants are required to submit photos for team introductions on the day of the performance by April 4. Please use the music and upload form.
7. By participating in the contest, all contestants consent to KACCSA to take performance photos and videos for promotional purposes.
Competition
1. The contest will take place throughout the main program at the stage. Solo and group performance order will be determined by a Korean ladder game, "Sadaritagi."
2. The performance should be between 3 to 4 minutes long, including the music. Kindly exercise good judgement in selecting a song appropriate for a family audience.
3. Community dress code- to comply with venue requests, contestants are strongly advised against wearing overly revealing, provocative, or offensive outfits.
4. Performances are evaluated by a 3-judge panel. Judging criteria will be explained at a contestant orientation scheduled on a future date.
5. Prizes will be awarded to the top scorers of the Solo and Group divisions.
6. All performers may request a copy of their performance report by emailing info@sakorean.org before May 2, 2026. Judge names will not be revealed in the report to protect their privacy.
