📄 KACCSA Fall 2026 Cultural Experience Tour - FAQ
1. Registration & Application
Q: Are there still spots available for the trip?
A: Yes! As long as the trip is not explicitly marked as "Closed" on our website, we are actively accepting registrations.
Q: I am traveling with family members or friends. Do we each need to fill out a separate application?
A: Yes, each participant must complete an individual registration form. This ensures we have precise personal information for lodging arrangements, group transportation, and overall tour logistics.
Q: Will the tour be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met? When will a decision be made, and how do refunds work?
A: This tour requires a minimum of 10 participants (up to a maximum of 20). If the minimum enrollment of 10 is not met, the tour may be cancelled and all payments will be fully refunded.
Final Decision Date: August 15
(※ We strongly recommend waiting until August 15, after the tour is officially confirmed, to purchase your airline tickets.)
2. Payment & Fees
Q: How can I pay the registration fee? Is there an option without processing fees?
A: You can choose between two payment methods:
Zelle (No Processing Fees / Recommended): Send your payment using the details below to avoid any additional processing fees.
Email: info@sakorean.org
Phone: 210-317-7157
Online Credit Card: Available at https://sakorean.square.site/. Please note that a 3.3% + 30¢ processing fee will be added at checkout.
Q: If I pay via Zelle, when will I receive my receipt?
A: You will receive an official receipt via email within 24 hours of Zelle confirmation. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us at info@sakorean.org.
3. Arrival, Flights & Logistics
Q: Which airport should I fly into, and by what time should I arrive for the group shuttle?
A: Please fly into Incheon International Airport (ICN).
Flight Departure Note: Due to the time difference and long-haul travel, you must depart from the U.S. on Thursday, October 22 in order to arrive in Korea on Friday, October 23.
On October 23 (Arrival Day), all participants will gather at Incheon Airport and travel to the hotel together via group shuttle.
Specific meeting location and timing details will be provided closer to the trip.
Q: What if I arrive early or stay later than the official tour dates?
A: If you are arriving early or extending your stay for personal travel, you may head directly to our designated hotel without taking the airport shuttle. (Detailed hotel address and check-in instructions will be shared individually once your participation is confirmed.)
Q: What if my flight arrives late at night or early in the morning on October 23?
A: For arrivals on October 23, we will arrange separate pickup or transportation guidance for off-peak arrival times (such as late night or early morning). Please share your flight itinerary with us as soon as it is booked.
Q: When and where should I purchase my airline tickets?
A: Generally, international flights are best booked about 2 months prior to departure.
We recommend comparing flights on Google Flights (flights.google.com) or Skyscanner (skyscanner.com), and then purchasing directly through the airline's official website.
Feel free to use your preferred credit card reward portals or airline frequent flyer miles to find the best deal.
4. Accommodation & Rooms
Q: What kind of hotels will we be staying in? What are the amenities like?
A: We have carefully selected 4-star hotels that offer high comfort and convenience for our travelers. Every room comes fully equipped with a private en-suite bathroom and shower.
Q: How much is the single room supplement? How does roommate matching work?
A: Standard registration ($2,800) covers double occupancy (shared room). Solo travelers will be randomly paired with a roommate of the same gender.
Private Single Room Option: An additional fee of $105 per night applies ($945 total surcharge for the 9-night stay).
5. Meals & Itinerary
Q: Are meals included on the first day?
A: Official meals are not included on the first day due to staggered airport arrivals and hotel check-in schedules. (Hotel check-in is available in the afternoon.) Upon arrival at the hotel, our staff will guide you to nearby convenience stores and recommended local restaurants for snacks or dinner.
Q: How do independent dining days and free time work?
A: For most of the trip, group meals will be provided at carefully curated local restaurants. On designated independent dining days, participants will be provided a meal stipend (allowance) to explore and purchase food freely within selected areas.
6. Organizers & Partners
Q: How was the itinerary created, and who is organizing the local tour in Korea?
A: This tour is organized jointly by KACCSA and our experienced Korean partner agency. Every destination, hotel, restaurant, and activity included in the itinerary was personally visited and vetted by our staff to ensure the highest quality experience for our group.
7. Preparation & Prep Classes
Q: Is there anything specific I need to do to prepare before departing for Korea?
A: No intensive prep is required! However, we will host a mandatory online orientation meeting before departure to review the final schedule and travel tips together.
If you would like to prepare further, we highly recommend enrolling in KACCSA's fall course, "Korean Trip Prep Class," where you can learn essential travel Korean and practical cultural insights before you fly!
