샌안토니오 한국문화센터(KACCSA)는 샌안토니오 한인 커뮤니티 구성원 분들의 요구와 큰 성원에 힘입어 2021년 가을학기부터 어린이를 위한 누리 한국학교를 운영하고 있습니다.

​누리 한국학교는 샌안토니오 지역에 거주하는 한인 가정의 아이들뿐만 아니라 한국어와 한국문화에 관심 있는 모든 어린이들에게 효과적이고 재미있는 한국어 배움의 장을 제공합니다. 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 아이들이 언어와 문화를 통해 서로를 이해하고, 넓은 시각으로 세상을 바라볼 수 있도록 돕는 교육을 목표로 합니다.

순수 한국말로 “세상”이라는 뜻을 가진 누리의 이름답게 누리 한국학교 어린이들이 한국어와 한국문화를 배워 한국인의 자긍심을 높이고 세상을 사랑으로 넓게 품을 수 있는 아이들이 되도록 저희가 돕겠습니다.

대상은 Pre-K부터 7학년까지이고 토요일 오전 9:30분부터 12:30분까지 진행됩니다.  다년간의 한국학교에서 어린이를 가르친 경험과, 한국문화센터에서 한국어와 한국문화를 가르친 경험을 바탕으로 열심히 준비했습니다.

Hello.
The Korean American Cultural Center in San Antonio (KACCSA) opened Nuri Korean School for children in the fall semester of 2021, thanks to the calling and great support from the members of the Korean community in San Antonio.
We have prepared an excellent program for children, and we will teach them with the love from Jesus Christ.

Nuri Korean School provides an effective and engaging learning environment not only for children from Korean families in the San Antonio area, but also for all children who are interested in learning the Korean language and culture. Our educational goal is to help students from diverse cultural backgrounds understand one another through language and culture, and to develop a broader, more inclusive view of the world.

True to the meaning of its name, “Nuri,” which means “the world” in pure Korean, Nuri Korean School supports children as they learn the Korean language and culture, develop cultural sensitivity and pride, and grow into individuals who respect differences and embrace the world with love.

The target students include children from Pre-K to 7th grade, and the program will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays. I have prepared this program diligently based on my years of teaching children at Korean schools and from teaching the Korean language and culture at the Korean Cultural Center alongside other experienced teachers.
