Class description
Programming with Scratch (Elem.)
In the programming with Scratch class, we will learn the fundamentals of coding using the block-based coding platform Scratch, created by MIT. This will allow us to learn about coding and practice the creative problem solving process without the need for good typing skills. Scratch will allow us to make fun and complex games together, so students can see immediate results of their learning and take pride in their work!

Class description
Intro to Python Class (Middle School)
In the Intro to Python class, we will learn how to code in the programming language Python, which is used by software professionals at companies like Google, Facebook, and Netflix. We will learn the basics of text-based programming that will translate to any coding classes or projects your student may pursue in the future. Even for those who do not want to code as a career, the critical thinking, problem solving, and abstract thinking skills developed in the class will be beneficial as students prepare to enter high school.
